My mum helped me to laugh the best belly laugh ever.
I just got a new door and had the locks changed. Anyways, I gave my mum the new set of keys.
The door does lock on its own but you also need to use the key to lock the big lock. (For my peace of mind)
Anyways I was on the phone to my uncle and funnily enough I could hear rustling in the door lock. We both start laughing saying she's been out there for about 15mins.
I get up and check the door through the peephole to make sure it is her.
It is, she looks so puzzled!
I open the door and we all piss ourselves with laughter- uncle included.
Apparently because I was on the call, I heard incorrectly- she left, then opened the door as she needed the toilet.
Started heading off down the stairs only to turn back once she realised she had left her work laptop at mine. 😂
I don't know what I was hearing in-between, but it sounded like 15 mins of lock turning. 🤭
I needed that laugh. Even if it's at my mum's expense.
