Well my hen's trial egg finally hatched. I went out this morning to find 2 broody hens in one box. Then they went to the other nest box to discuss who gets to set on those eggs, ditching the baby. So I moved my blue green back to get box where her baby is and she proceeded to Peck at the poor thing. So I thought maybe one of the other 3 broody hens wanted it, nope. So now I have a tiny baby chick who has decided that I'm mom.
Update: Baby is doing good. I went down to the local tractor supply and got it some friends close to it's size. It has though imprinted on my hand.
@cheyster Yeah I do.Vickie rescued a Starling. She actually learned to mimic her words and spoke until Vickie passed away. She was named Blue and lived for 13 years. Things she said
