They turned seven weeks over the weekend and now we welcome a couple of new chapters to their little lives.
Today marks our last day with this big girl as she walks into her forever home later this afternoon.
There’s four little girls that can’t wait to love her and even though I’m gonna miss her, I’m excited for this next chapter for her. I’ve documented her life through photos from day one and on this last day I couldn’t have snapped a more perfect picture to sum up this eager to show some love sweetheart.
Another chapter for the puppies came…some day over the past week. I’ve lost track of the days due to the holidays. But we’ve welcomed this little bit into our home.
Incredibly feisty and a ball of energy, she’s made herself comfortable already.
Not to be left out, this precious little girl will currently take up residency with her mama and my son.
But with a promotion at work that’ll have him on the road for many late hours of the night, we’re looking at alternative options for her so she can have the level of attention and care that she deserves in life. We’ll see if she has a new future home in store for her journey.
This entire venture has taught us all quite a bit, like… while they’re adorable and I’m blessed to have been present from their first breath of air taken…how important it is to have your pets spayed or neutered. My son has never been more adamant about it after going through this challenging at times journey. But the most embarrassing lesson learned is that we were all so ignorant to this whole process that none of us could tell the difference between male and female puppy parts. So, the past seven weeks what I thought were little sacks were actually girl bits. …🤦🏻♀. Thank you google for educating me on the difference between the two and for making the “oh boy” preciousness of three boys turned into the “Awwww!” preciousness of having three girls. We lost our beloved female husky last year and hoped at least one would be a girl to help heal our hearts. Can’t believe we were blessed with three that helped heal us without even knowing it 🥹
