There was a handsome prince who told an ugly duckling that he loved her

The ugly duckling began to grow wings and turned into a beautiful swan and after she learned how to fly the handsome Prince clipped her wings and started talking to other birds

Sounds like the prince wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He seems a tad selfish if you ask me. Maybe greedy is a better word.
