Anybody have this mini sewing machine?
My machine is refusing to pick the bobbin thread. I've tried everything but it just won't. Please help if you can.

I know this might sound stupid, but take out the needle , and put it back in.
Sometimes if the needle isn't screwed in tight enough, it can move .
One little twist or change of angle screws up the pick up .
Just happened recently when my daughter was using my machine.
We did everything , cleaned out the bobbin case, rethreaded, blah blah blah.
And this was our last resort.
Not saying it will fix it, but its worth a try.
Ive put a needle in once facing the wrong way before, and it does tje same thing ....no pick up .

@OogieBoogie I believe the needle is facing the right direction. I did notice though that after removing and reinserting the needle the thread attached to the needle seemed twisted. Will remove the needle a second time. Where is the needle supposed to be facing by the way?
I was using the material that came with the machine to test the machine. The needle isn't old I bought the machine just a month ago.

@Lichocolati soma machines differ in whick way the needle faces.
Id look in your manual to see.
Its a very rare thing , but tje needle is cheap it might have a burr on it (mineutely bent on the end. Ive only ever had this happen once to me.
You can check if its tje tjrewad tension that's causing tje issue by, pulling on it gently once its all threaded , and ready to sew.
Just pull both threads to thr left.
They should both. have about the same resistence .
If they arent , then it could be a tension thing .
I know theres a lot of videos online tthat migjt be able to help you sort it out.

@OogieBoogie Will follow instructions. I've searched for videos on YouTube over the past couple of weeks and have even commented asking these questions but never got any feedback hence the reason I decided to come here.
