Serious cop being funny:

A cop pulls a vehicle over for speeding. The cop gets down, walks over to the vehicle and gets the driver's license and registration. The cop tells them to stay put, he will be right back. The cop comes back and said, 'I'm going to have to write you a ticket.' The driver ask the cop, 'do you know my father?' The cop looks at them seriously and said, 'why, your mother didn't tell you?'
