@Justmeraeagain Sadly I still enjoy snacking in the evening way too much, but I've changed what I eat to apples and things like that.

@Musicman I think we change a little at a time, that is what I did.
I only eat a snack if my CGM says my sugar is 89 or below between meals.
I also have substituted things.
I eat Diamond Nut Crackers, when I eat crackers...only use half and half , make my own chai seed jam with no sugar.
If I really crave cereal, which isn't very often,
I eat nut gronala.
Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of sugar-free powdered pudding mix replaces pudding cups.
My blood glucose usually runs 95-118, unless I get stupid and eat bread 😡
I must be highly carb sensitive, because it doesn't take much wheat to send my sugars soaring.

@Justmeraeagain It's amazing how that one word, diabetes, makes us change everything. ☹☹☹

@Musicman I have to, if I want to be around to see the grandkids graduate.
I think what keeps on the straight and narrow is that, and I want to get off insulin.

@Justmeraeagain I completely understand and I definitely support you in this endeavor. 😊

@Musicman As long as I am on insulin, I don't think I will lose much weight, which is a goal, but not the main one.
The main one is to keep sugars under control and lower Ac1
