Remember when our parents would always tell us how far they would have to walk to school in the snow?….

I have actually had that experience, once upon a time I stayed in Perugia Italy for a month as part of some school exchange program but me and few others got a room outside the city as that was what we could afford to some pretty scenic area, in a building where workers and immigrants lived. The accommodation was satisfying despite the odds, but the whole building looked like it came out of some thriller movie, standing by itself somewhere. That "somewhere" was half an hour walking to the school we were supposed to be going daily, in the middle of snowy paths that none was clearing. It was...a scenic route...I actually loved it, but I ended up with high fever and unable to move anywhere for half the period I stayed. Not the casual parents story but a story :)
