This farmer basically said it all

This reminded me of driving a school bus. A dairy farmer had all of his pregnant cows in the field by the road and one day, I noticed one cow behaving like “baby’s coming, like NOW.” We had time, we were early, and I thought this would be excellent for the kids to witness. So I stopped the bus and alerted my passengers. They watched goggle-eyed while the cow delivered her baby. The kids were excited and then I drove them to school. Then later I went to pick them up and take them home. When I got back to the bus lot, the boss met me at the bus. He didn’t say much, just, “I’ve started giving the parents YOUR phone number.”

One of the many calls I received that night was a mother complaining, “He keeps asking QUESTIONS!”

In all fairness, I don’t think she knew the answers.
