He's telling me about this girl that he thinks is his friend, but she follows him around a lot and says hi and smiles and stares at him.

Me: You know how I told you girls start going boy crazy in middle school?

Him: Yeah.

Me: Well it sounds like she admires you and has a little crush on you...

Him: Really? Am I going to have to put up with that?

Me: Remember ALL those times I called you cute? I wasn't just saying that ya know?

It's honestly weird to experience that for the first time. First times are like the trial runs you never know are trial runs lol.

But might be best you teach him how to treat a girl politely, even how to turn down someone politely, especially one he still wishes to keep as a friend.

No one ever taught me that. Admittedly, I could have done a lot better before when dealing with those things. I still kind of wished I didn't tear down the very first love letter I received. Things like that.
