My ability to remember song lyrics from the 80’s, far exceeds my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen!

That I can completely relate to!
I wonder how much more intelligent I would be if I was able to evict the lyrics from my brain of so many cornball songs from the 80's that I can still recite at any given time, often to the dismay of those around me minding their own business.
Nothing like breaking into some "Take on me" in a crowded elevator to liven things up
I consider it a skill to be shared
