Just because some people are attracted to two genders doesn't mean that's all there is, just like bicycle doesn't mean there are no vehicles with more than 2 wheels.
@NerdyPotato Sure, but we didn’t rebuild the whole highway system every time someone invented a different kind of wheel. Humanity worked just fine without redefining the road for every variation.

@userfawkes1105 and thankfully nobody is asking to rebuild anything for gender variety either. If anything, major changes where made to create a binary divide, such as bathrooms and marks on passports, while almost every native population recognized more than two genders. The variety was the original, the binary was invented later to simplify things.
@NerdyPotato Bathrooms and passports didn’t create the binary they just reflect it. And most native populations recognized male and female too, the rest were rare exceptions, not the rule.
@userfawkes1105 then why don't they reflect the 6 or 7 genders recognized by many older cultures?
@NerdyPotato Because those ‘6 or 7 genders’ were social roles, not new sexes biology stayed binary.
