I was grabbing drinks with a few friends at this local bar, and we started hanging with a few folks on the patio who claimed to be leftists.

And my gosh did they suck the fun out of EVERYTHING. They expected everyone to conform and abide to all of their cultish rules and vocabulary—constantly ‘correcting’ and policing jokes, claiming some banter between longtime friends was ‘offensive and boarding on ‘hate speech’’. It’s like these people can never just relax, have a beer, and have a good time. I’m so glad average people aren’t like this. The left used to be edgy and FUN—now they’re a bunch of overly sensitive, bracelet jingling Karens.

I have classical liberal friends that are cool—but self professed ‘leftists?’ —I’ve yet to meet one that isn’t a total thought policing buzz kill.

Needless to say, we bailed on those Betas lol
