The strangest expression I have ever come across lol

I was looking for a synonym for the word ''Drat'' and came across this 😂

''Butter my butt and call me a biscuit''

Contexts
Used to express great incredulity or disbelief
Used to express surprise, agitation or disappointment

And of course my weird brain remembered this song of Ivy Levan ( love her songs)🤭

Well bless their heart, I reckon that phrase must come from my part of the woods, I bet they was fixin' to say drat, but decided to hold their horses, so nobody'd have a hissy fit and say «Y'all sound like them carpet baggers over yonder!»

You want some sweet tea , lemonade or Mountain Dew and a Moon Pie, sugar-honey-darlin'?
@BlueGreenGrey 😄 I'd love to hear that with the southern Twang.

Oh yes, iced tea, please. ''Thank ya kindly''...that's the most southern courtesy I can come up with☺
@LilMissAnonyMOUSE for me I imagine sometimes my accent still comes through a little, but I hated having that accent when I was a kid, especially after moving to The City (a southern city no less, but one that is a bit more of a melting pot of accents, perhaps because of being a military town, so my accent nevertheless stood out among my peers to the point of them making fun of it), and either consciously or subconsciously worked to suppress it into more of a neutral, generic American, news anchor (non-)accent

Perhaps «Much obliged» could work 😊
@BlueGreenGrey Actually, your accent is hardly noticeable, almost imperceptible.I like your accent-non accent ☺

Ahhhh! Yes, I forgot about that☺👍
@BlueGreenGrey I had to look up what a moon pie is...ooooh, it looks like a yummy snack😋
@LilMissAnonyMOUSE how much do you like marshmallow?
@BlueGreenGrey From a scale of 1 to 10? ...about a 6☺
@LilMissAnonyMOUSE I don't remember if I've actually had a Moon Pie before, if I did it must've been a long time ago ... I don't normally graviate to marshmallows but then I think marshmallow cream might be an ingredient in something that I like such as fudge ... maybe the same store which imports root beer there might also stock Moon Pies, you should try them if you get a chance, to see if they match your imaginings 😊

I think you know how I feel about the other thing too, incidentally 😊
@BlueGreenGrey Oh I like fudge too. I lived in the US for a while, as you know, but I never got to taste a moonpie....maybe that's because they are not common in New York, being a typical recipe of the American south ? I'd love to try them.

Yes, I do ☺
@LilMissAnonyMOUSE I would not say for certain that they cannot be found in the NY area, but yes I would associate them with the south primarily 😊

🤗
