I actually had an idea for a short story about something like this. A beloved celebrity falls on hard times and loses everything, so he calls on his fans to help him by letting him crash in their houses. At first, it's a big deal where people are only too happy to help, until they realize that he's an entitled prick and makes their lives miserable. It ends where only the creepiest fans are willing to get involved.

@LeopoldBloom That would be an excellent horror story actually and realistic. The tag line could be something like "they say never to meet your heroes." Basically.
