I guess some people just don’t get my sense of humour

So I was in Mark’s Work Wearhouse last night…and the young girl at the till points out the song that’s playing. She says “Oh Whitney Houston! I recognize her voice anywhere”

So of course I respond with:
“Ahhh yes. Whitney Houston. You can’t beat a pretty girl with a beautiful voice….well, unless you’re Bobby Brown”

She didn’t laugh. Not even a snicker!!!

@ImpeccablyImperfect Gen X is to Gen Z as the silent generation is to Gen X. Would you get a reference to something from the 30s?

@ImpeccablyImperfect I was a child my mother had late in life so she is of the silent generation. It definitely was a different perspective growing up.
