Why would they still be after you? When I was a kid I was afraid that i'd stop breathing in my sleep. Don't let other people dictate your life though do you have kids or anyone living with you?

Fear of the night, I like to watch happy movies before I go to sleep. They even play a part in my dreams, and my dream are usually good. You need to find something that will distract your thoughts of murder, and stop your mind from thoughts of fear. Get a pet, if you don't already have one, they are a great distraction. You're still alive so that mean they haven't murdered you. Closing thoughts, one of my favorite quotes: "Worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but it never gets you anywhere." I struggle with CPTSD and darkness is especially difficult to me too. You're not alone. Sometimes my body feels so threatened by just being around people, I'm afraid they'll hurt me.

I strongly urge u to get professional help bc we are not shrinks...ur situation is very complex...best of luck!
