My cousin had a vette and would place a 100 dollar bill on the dashboard at a red light and dare you to grab it when the light turned green .
Nobody ever grabbed it . Lol
Mustangs have always been a good price for the HP they have .

@wildbill83 my fastest car was a 1964 Malibu SS with a 350 from an Impala SS. It only took me 2 weeks to blow the transmission and lose my license. lol

@AthrillatheHunt 5.0 rustangs always had horrible gearing, they might take off quick, but once they got to 80-90, it was like they hit a wall...

@WonderGirl still have the vette (collecting dust in garage for the last 15 years until I can afford to fix it, got T-boned at an intersection). Junior Johnson built 350 destroker (actually a 333ci), would turn 8-9k rpm all day

been up to around 165-170mph or so, not enough road or enough brakes to go much faster, would definitely do 200 with the 3.08 rear gear

@wildbill83 I drove my Impala up to 100 mph with the back windows down. They were flapping like rubber but they didn't break. I learned my lesson that day.
