People are so hilariously stupid.
I'm filling in for Front Desk at the hotel I bartend. I'm just chilling, scrolling through TikTok, when I hear a *THUNK* "F_ck!" I look out the window to see a guy walk away from one of our locked doors.
He comes in, irritated, yelling at me to put a 'Door Closed' sign in it. I tell we do have one and pointed it out. He walks away in a huff.
Roughly 20min pass and I heara second *THUNK* look out the window and see a woman clutching her face. She looks up and sees the sign. Looks around to make sure there are no witnesses(windows are tinted outside so she doesn't see me) and proceeds inside to her room.
3 hours pass and there are 5, FIVE, more *THUNKS*. At this point I'm laughing out loud before they come in because it's too funny.
The sign, btw, is at head level with all caps in bold print saying "DOOR CLOSED. PLEASE USE NEXT ENTRANCE" so there's no way it's hard to see. the last 3 people I watched walk straight into the door wile staring down at their phones.
