Do you think the country where you were born in defines you? Should you feel pride of that country and protect it and all that just because you were

Born in it? Or do you think it should be a choice who and what you pledge your allegiance to? As you didn't choose where you were born in?

I used to be proud of the country I was born in but it has abandoned the ideals I hold so no I do not have any particular allegiance to it.
