Do you think the country where you were born in defines you? Should you feel pride of that country and protect it and all that just because you were

Born in it? Or do you think it should be a choice who and what you pledge your allegiance to? As you didn't choose where you were born in?

No, of course not. I see nothing wrong with taking pride in where you grew up, I'm quite fond of where I live even though it's nothing special. But there's no reason why you should feel obligated to pledge allegiance to a place just because you happened to end up there.
