On quantum ***entanglement

So first, an aside. This idea is important for explaining exactly what I'm talking about:

The speed of electricity is debated amongst scientists. Why? Because you could consider electricity to be either the motion of electrons, or the energy that is exchanged between said electrons.

If you go the motion of electrons route then electricity is just above super sonic speeds.

If you go the energy route then electricity is as fast as light is.

And people debate about which should be used because while the energy may be faster, the thing responsible for actual work being done is the motion of the electrons.

[Note: very much like this concept, it is possible for current to lead voltage on the way to the load or vice versa even though you need both current and voltage to have workable electricity.]

Now, in regard to quantum **entanglement, perhaps this is exactly why it appears that sub-atomic particles can be in two places at one time yet still act as if it were a single particle!

For instance, if you take your hand and place it on the wall, did the energy that you used to move your hand reach the wall before your physical hand did?

Assuming it did, perhaps there is no way to notice because your hand is so big compared to a subatomic particle (SAP)

On a quantum scale, perhaps the energy of a SAP arrives at the destination way before the actual SAP does because at that size there is less "resistance" in the fabric of space-time between the point of origin and the destination.

So maybe you are seeing both the physical SAP and the energy of the SAP. Or rather, the "concept" of the SAP.

Perhaps both things, and the idea of things, are of a tangible substance it's just that outside of the quantum world they are inseparable.

Like we see a tree and the idea of a tree as the same thing but they aren't. They are inseparable to the point of being basically the same thing but we know that ideas and physical things are not the same thing.

So imagine seeing both a real tree and the idea of a tree at the same time right next to each other.

Maybe that is what quantum entanglement is 🤷🏽‍♂️

Multiple approaches to this. Now think of electricity as a wave. eg sign wave.

@DeWayfarer a wave but also a particle/dependant on a particle to do work.

The duality is interesting.
@DeWayfarer dc is not a wave. however i could be wrong. not like 60 hz usa in ac.

@markansas ALL "energy" can be considered as both wave and particle energy. The type of energy doesn't matter.

With the advent of quantum physics though that adds to the number of types, though that is still in question by some. Like the OP questions.

I don't take issue with him because of the others are also still in question on this matter.

Yet the evidence does point to a third type with quantum physics. And not just "dual" views.

The math is rather intriguing actually and have posted a video once on here on string theory by a noted university professor.

The video would be gibberish to any that haven't had second semester university calculus at minimum though.
@DeWayfarer thankyou. first a little about my background. old school electronic tech repairing tv when they were tube and trying to keep up with new stuff. i know nothing grin. i join this thread because it caught my eye. and just being seen by one of you smart folks . well it made my day .. again thanks.. also ac travels on top of wire and dc goes threw the core of the wire. kinda a odd fact . i learned that putting in my own solar at this time. never to old to learn . grin
[image deleted] just off topic i know and excited to talk to some one else who has a iq over 90. thanks mark

@markansas electricians as such rarely deal with wave physics. Now electrical engineers actually do to some extent. Energy wave mechanics is mostly a physics type thing.

FYI I have no idea just how extensive you ever got into the physics yet even my half brother who was a electrical tempest engineer would agree with me! Heck he got me started in the mathematics back in the late 70s!
@DeWayfarer i am sorry if any thing i said or did here might have offended any one. on this thread . other threads it might be a diff matter. now the only reason i learned about ac and dc traveling on wires was to make my solar system better. i ordered in mc4 wire and it came in two types stranded and non stranded. of course not knowing i ordered in the wrong wire. so all this is a learning process. i am going off grid with this. [image deleted]and as i was hunting for this photo . it came to me why you said that the iq was not meant for you it was i was glad to be here and talking to someone who might be smarter than me.. so please forgive my fopa [image deleted]

@markansas just saying to learn the physics and mathematics of this.

Your the one bringing up IQ. 🤷‍♂️
@DeWayfarer and this for the last time i DID NOT MEAN THAT FOR ANY HERE ON THE THREAD. i will say sorry once more but not twice. do you want to talk about dc and ac current. i thought that they were the same and they are not. dc breakers are made different from ac breakers for the spark gap. and that is me trying to change the subject. understood[image deleted]

@markansas stick to the topic

Quantum physics is apart of "On quantum ***entanglement".
@DeWayfarer thank you i am learning the way here.
