The account seemed to disappear when I said I wanted to video call to confirm our identities to one another. This whole situation kinda creeps me out because the only way it makes sense is if their goal was to get me to send them a nude. I mean they spend time typing out messages to me, they committed to not asking for money or sending me any links. The account seemed to be steering the conversation towards me sending it nudes at one point, but I knew at the time that that was too dangerous.
I'm definitely not surprised. I figured the account was either nefariously seeking nudes or was real from the get-go, and the former possibility seemed much more likely even then. But then, was the person running it just trying to extort me for money or was it someone from my life who had a personal vendetta against me?
I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night.
