It Does Take All Sorts To Make A World
That's pretty much my strap line on my beliefs.
Firstly, I work within the legal system, as a lawyer, and as such, over my career, have had dealings with everyday people, homeless individuals, small family companies as well as big, some downright crooked people, the police and families.
We live within an area that you could call multi racial, with Derbyshire reported to having around 167 different languages/dialects within it's walls. That's a lot.
I have friends involved in healthcare, friends involved in prostitution...and friends that are nuns!
I always hate the ideal of exclusivity; a tired and worn-out philosophy. I much prefer being inclusive.
Probably why I became a lawyer in the first place.
We can learn a lot from people. All that we add makes us more unique.
And that can only be a good thing.
