I Can Be Friends With People Totally Different From Me
I can be friends with people totally different from me. But nobody is totally different from anyone else; there is always at least one common idea, interest, character trait, or value in common if one digs deep enough. And, I think that having that one (or hopefully more) thing(s) in common is the fundamental basis for any friendship. Along with mutual respect. I may not like one aspect of a person, but that doesn't mean that I can't be friends with them.
