I Can Be Friends With People Totally Different From Me

Walking away from a friendship that no longer benefits you isn't wrong; it means you're a stronger person for doing so.

Being able to accept that this person is not inherently bad, just bad for you and your life, is what makes you noble.

You are allowed to terminate toxic relashionships.

You have to respect yourself enough to leave behind people and situations that no longer serve you in a positive way.

As much as you care about the friendship, you can't destroy yourself for the sake of someone else, specially when you know they wouldn't do the same for you.

EX-BEST FRIEND you will always have a special place in my heart. How ever, you will no longer have the power to control and destroy me the way you once did. I may be selfish and unforgiving, but I don't owe you an explanation for finally taking care of myself the way I deserve.

Are friendships only made to benefit yourself? Toxic is one thing but not benefitting is another. A true friend is one who isnt there just to gain.
