Dead ringer for my Dinky, only she is younger. Was less than a year old when she was dumped on me. When I had her spayed the Vet said she had already dropped a litter as not much more than a kitten. She loves her Raggedy Anne doll; carries it around like a kitten. And sometimes, at night, let's out the most horrendous, mournful yowls imaginable with her doll, and takes it to one of the showers and drops it in. No telling what she witnessed and/or experienced before she was dropped on me. But she sure appreciates her new home.

Yep. Just let him know he's loved and cherished every day and I'm sure that will be reciprocated to you.

everybody wants to adopt a kitten (or a puppy), or to be choosy about a breed as well

but people seem to more rarely want to adopt an older animal, or perhaps one with special needs, who need to be adopted just as much as the easier ones
