My Loving Friend

Let me tell you something about this old guy. Everytime I see him, I say hi and give him a hug.

He is so tall, handsome with a mighty look to him. He is a great listener, every now and then he nods in reply as I ramble on about..life.

He has weathered all kinds of changes. Some in his earlier days has twisted him. But he straightened on up as he grew.

He has watched history unfold. Saw more then he cares to share.

He has deep roots here now. Well established with offsprings all about.

When I need rest from the heat of the sun, I go to him and instantly feel relief.

Some think I am crazy for talking and hugging him.
That they have labled me a Tree Hugger....
