Courage to Correct is the mark of true friendship.

Friendship is not merely about sharing laughter and good times. True friendship entails a deeper responsibility: the courage to offer stern guidance when a friend loses their way.

If I needed to be told I am wrong, I would talk to my 6 years old nephew. Your job as my friend is to agree with me.

@Miram Even if you are on the verge of making a serious mistake?
Miram · 31-35, F
@Renkon I am just being playful.

It is good to be very honest with your friends, and even enemies at times.

You can’t really tell if someone is a true friend if you’re always agreeing with them. True friends are those you can have disagreements with from time to time, and by the end of the week, you've patched things up.

You're misguided, my friend. Compassion is the mark of true friendship 😌

I'll be around, should you lose your way again

If you’re the friend who tells me when I’ve had too much to drink, you can do one 👉🏻
Parents offer "stern guidance". A friend may say, "I believe you are making a mistake" but assuming this is an adult, the choice is ultimately theirs. 🙁

I agree…a stern manner would be exploiting a friendship.
You can't always correct people.. they make their own choices
