@beermeplease yep we watched a lot of stuff in the 80s,including Different Strokes.
If I remember most of the sitcoms were like a half hour long at the time.

I have not seen it since it was originally on air to be honest.
I know we really like the show and of course you remember the catchphrases

Only one from that series is still alive and that is Todd Bridges. The rest we lost sadly but I do remember that show, it will always be a classic
