As such, she is likely going to feel EXTREMELY violated and upset if you tell her. It sounds like you've gone down a pretty deep obsession rabbit hole. Looking at someone's Facebook isn't super harmful, but the knowledge you've been fixated and going through her stuff over and over is going to threaten her sense of safety.
I do not think a full confession is in anyone's best interests.
My advice - just unfriend her on Facebook. Done. No explanation unless she asks for one. If she asks, then give her a partial truth. "I'm crushing on you and know you're not interested in return. It's healthier for me if I don't have you added." She may still be unhappy to hear that, but it's gonna cause a lot less harm.
