Just pondering and wondering

Someone might remember my saying I'm too different people here. I've made it no secret I'm displeased with the condition of our country and on those forums I can be cordial or down right boligarant. This is where most of the intolerant blocking on both sides occur.
On the other side, my true favorite, is the humorous and life situation serious forums. There are even some completely political apposed and we get along fine when laughable subjects agree. I think this is as it should be when political beliefs seem to be the only separation.
In your self opinion can you get along with folks given the same situation in your real life and online.
Example of my real life. I once had a coworker, elder then me, I got along with fine and we discussed many life things including his military days. But if I wanted to push his buttons all I had to say was Clinton is a used car salesman and nothing more and he would explode LOL. So we'd have the senseless argument for an hour then go out to lunch. The animosity didn't stick in those days.
