In my observation, most people rely on social media for people's birthdays. So if you hide yours, then they forget. How do you feel about this?

Personally, I realized that a lot of "friends" from my old circle suck at remembering. I appreciate the ones who do.

I don’t care. I also don’t have social media to remind them. Those that care will remember. The rest really don’t matter and there’s no reason to judge them either.

@Casheyane Maybe when I was younger… but at 62 I’m not into the drama. As long as my fiancé remembers and my daughter shoots me a text, I’m good.
