Ever feel like the odd man out?

I’m at a party where everyone knows each other but me. I’m the newbie. No one really wants to interact with me. I’ve tried. I’m a very social person. It’s literally my day job to be social. But here I am on the outskirts not feeling like I belong. And the guy I’ve been dating just left me behind. Hasn’t checked on me in more than an hour. So I’m sitting in the hatchback of my car drinking alone. Maybe I’m not as social as I thought.

@Whyme oh, I’m fine now. I was just having a moment of being stuck in my own head. The evening ended nicely with my bf playing guitar and leading songs. At some point I read a childrens story book to a group of drunk adults. And to wrap up the night we got invited to (and politely declined) an orgy. 😂

@Whyme it felt there was gonna be some drama go down. The girl that was trying to get it going said she had been fighting with her hubby. No need to get drawn into that.
