I Am Very Selective When It Comes to Letting People Get Close

It just makes sense. I have a strong filter now and boundaries are a must. Anyone who has gone through heartache and abuse knows this well. It's important to protect your sanity. Only people worthy of your kindness deserve to be in your life.

It's the way we have to be. Everyone talks about not judging others, but we judge people every day. And when we judge they are harmful to us, we let them go. And when we judge they raise us up, we invite them into our lives

@Nat15 I agree. I used to get quite irritated when people here would complain about judgement or claim they never judge. Everything is based on judgement. Good or bad judgement. Even down to what food we eat, when we cross the road and people to have around us are the most important judgement of all. So if we don't "judge" others and our own actions even then we are left open to being abused or even to being abusive if we fail to keep our own actions and words in check.
Everything is judgement and it's nice to see someone post who thinks similarly even though it's not fashionable.
