I did drop the shields, part way and allow someone in.
I knew they were lying to me and allowed them to continue lying to me for just over a year? Just shy of a year? Im not sure.
He is still here, as one or 5 of his many characters he plays, which are all the same. Just different stories.
I finally lost my cool and told him off, very publicly and very very drunkenly. Still, no regrets.

@latinbutterfly I guess he is. I really liked him, that is the unfortunate part. I gave him opportunities to come clean with me and he never did. But it doesn't matter. I only wish he were real. I needed a real person.
