I Believe That Internet Friends Are Real

I love internet friends but I think what I hate is that a [i]lot[/i] of them are temporary. You have deep and engaging conversations with them and suddenly you just kind of stop talking, one of you stops coming online, etc. It's easier to make friends online but it's also unfortunate that most of them don't last.

Oh you're totally speaking my language! Yeah I had a situation on ep that was just that. Now I don't hear from the person any more, they have a profile on here but haven't been on since this site was started last year, and I miss our conversations and jokes. To me that just shows the fakeness of internet friends. A word to the wise, if you can't exchange other information like phone numbers, e mails, or whatever then that's not your real friend. Sorry I'm a bit bitter about the situation.
