@DeWayfarer i agree with you. On this site in 10 years, i've only shared my email with 6 people. This person and I had been corresponding for about 4 months when we swapped emails because he was moving house and putting SW on hiatus. At that point i 100% belived everything about him....rightly or wrongly.

Even this site I vetted out for six months before I joined. 🤷🏻♂ Hence the six month delay in joining this site. Yeah I was vetting EP when I discovered about this place on EP. I was ghosting EP without an account.

So typical of some people online. It amazes me how far some will go to reinvent themselves … It’s mind blowing. This is really quite sad but at least you were smart enough to catch him out. So many people here can’t fathom of the fake profiles and how far they will go to keep their personas up…smh Sorry you experienced this.Things like this disturb my peace of mind. It messes with my head cause I know of a great deal that goes on here. 😢

Ruby, you have a great heart, and you are a lovely lady to still wonder and to still care about a person that lied to you about who they were, and yet you still care that they are happy speaks Volumes as to your heart and depth of heart.
Honestly if a person lies to me and puts on a fake facade with me, they become the Chaff that I leave laying in the field to decay after the harvest.

Very interesting, not boring at all. (I wonder about the why of the not Bobs here.) Glad you discovered the truth. It's an amazing situation , isn't it. Like we were part of a live interactive fictional story/book. For the record, I prefer simple, honest, and as real as possible
