Have you ever been shunned, ignored, unfriended, or even blocked by someone because you refuse to fawn all over them like everyone else does?

Yes. I have been deemed undesireable for not fawning over someone.
Yes. I have deemed someone undesireable for not giving me the atention I crave.
No, never. You're crazy.
Is this about me?
I don't understand the question.
If you don't fawn, you can't be a friend. What's wrong with you?

My second ex - classic case of shunning because I refused to pedestalise her narcissistic personality 'disorder' me-me-me-me mental state when all I was seeking was basic respect, common-sense decency, honesty, acceptance, and a positive welcoming approach to what should have been our new family. Unfortunately from day 1 of discovering she was pregnant it was totally the opposite - toxic, negative, unromantic, distanced, and eventually violent and abusive (towards me).

A woman I dated for a short time about 2 yrs after breaking up with her went in a similar direction - she turned out to be a chronic feminist princess type and again when I wouldn't pedestalise her views after I got told constantly I was wrong and not good enough it turned negative and toxic.

I haven't dated since.
