@cherokeepatti hostels have limited funds, so a computer is not always a priority. It would be hard to maintain too in a place like that. I hope he's ok. He told me he couldn't get a job in Canada as he never learnt French. I think he was originally from Australia or the UK.

@meggie It wasn’t a hostel. It was a charity residential care center. And there was more to his story than what he told most people.

@Musicman He did respond to me. Sort of like flirting and I didn’t reply to that. Maybe he was wanting someone to send him some money for smokes.

@Musicman I think he had settled down with his language and stuff. Can’t be talking the way he did and be dependent on people in a place like that. He might have had someone helping him type the posts though. Pretty sure it was him. He had replied something similar to me years ago, and I didn’t reply that time to it either.
