An Old man had fallen over in his room at an Aged Care Home and hit his right arm on something on the way down. It tore the flesh from the bone. Luckily his main arteries didn't tear and it all had to be sewn back together by the Doctor on call, who happened to be a woman for dark skin. (The old guy was a racist) I had to try to stop him from punching her while she worked.
A man was presented to the ER when his wife had scalped him with a shovel. In her defence, she was probably aiming to kill him, her depth perception had was off due to the eye he had gouged out the night before.
Drove to Port Lincoln from Ceduna, started out very early and the a road train or two had already gone through. The road was littered with animals that had been clipped by the trucks bull bar. I mean it was such a bloody mess you couldn't even tell what some of the animals were.
