When somebody catfishes somebody online do they think if they ever meet the person, that the person will accept that they did that and be fine with it

I had someone off here catfish me badly. They had a womens profile and i talked to them for ages believing they were female then one day they tell me their actually male and show me pics of themself. Like no. Im not your friend anymore.

They think the other person will be so moved by their determination that denial can't possibly happen. There's a level of narcissism involved.

Moderation always saves coz extremes mostly leads to decay.
