I have to literally rudely interrupt my friend to get a word in edgewise. We talk about her her her her all the time. She can't even tell my daughters apart and they don't even look that similar.

@Nebula Unfortunately if it’s something you’ve continued to tolerate, that’s not surprising. And again, those really aren’t friends, they’re energy vampires. True friendships meet the needs of both people. If you want that, you need to learn to assert yourself which starts with feeling confident that you deserve it.

@Nebula Well if that’s true, she should be open to hearing about what you need from the friendship. It would be important to her. And it sounds like it would be good practice for you to initiate that conversation.
