I would be friends no question with my case manager

Do you ever find someone that you like immediately and wish you could be friends with but due to professional boundaries it may not be feasible. I genuinely enjoy my case managers Maha company and her thinking and her general personality. She is kind, respectful, and educated about different types of people or at least is willing to learn. I would be good friends with her if she weren’t my mental health care manager and I would love to meet her husband and daughter and parents. She was kind enough to take a tour with me at The recovery connection center sponsored by Vinfen. It’s aimed at promoting mental health awareness and acceptance and they have social groups. It’s free of charge and she thought I would like it as it is not requiring a minimum number of days to attend and you can just drop in to the activities. It strikes me as a very accepting and respectful place. My case manager works through Department of mental health to get me services like a psychiatrist and a therapist. There is no insurance needed to attend to these groups so it’s a godsend. No need to sign up no rigid structure. I could see myself going once or twice a week at most just to socialize and learn more about myself for couple of hours.
