Why can’t there be play dates for adults?

I’m at an age where making new friends seems awkward, and yet here we are. How do you go about making new friendships, and what do you hope to get out of them?

I have never looked for new friendships tbh … they just happen … feels natural and it always seems to occur after I have experienced something painful with someone else … I walk alone for a lil while then kinda just bump’ into new people along the way who turn out to be pretty amazing human beings, after that my faith in humanity starts to be restored again 🩵
