Why can’t there be play dates for adults?

I’m at an age where making new friends seems awkward, and yet here we are. How do you go about making new friendships, and what do you hope to get out of them?

There's all kinds of ways....
Church get togethers.... chat rooms (a bit wilder)...

With new friends... just try to find common interests... and talk about that. Build from there...
