Sherlock Holmes

@yeronlyman From Basil Rathdone and Robert Downey Jnr to the modern Benedict Cumberbatch and "Elementary" creations, Holmes still stands head and shoulders above the rest.😷
@whowasthatmaskedman I know people who refuse to watch “Sherlock” and “Elementary” on principle because they don’t see them as authentic. Personally, I think they’re missing out. 🙂

@whowasthatmaskedman totally agree

I liked Jeremy Brett in the 1980’s BBC version... he’s a typical Shakespearean style actor... was well done

Though Basil Rathbone is defo my nostalgic favourite

@bijouxbroussard ah timeless overall
🤗

The French Arsène Lupin is like Sherlock Holmes and the recent modern version is very good

Really enjoyed awaiting the next 4 episodes

@yeronlyman Yes. Brett was a Rathbone class actor. Totally wasted in My Fair Lady..😷
