I Want to Make Friends

Of course, I wanna have new online friends to share stuff about life and all.
I was amazed that after joining for a few minutes I already had followers and messages but let me tell you what I'm not and who I am. The rave just threw me off-guard.

A message from the first person I added as friend threw me off-balance. 🙄 But I like it when you're upfront. At least, we'd immediately know if we're on the same page or not.

I'm not here to welcome just anyone in my online community. Even in real life, I'm choosy. Before I befriend any follower, rest assured I will dissect first the profile. So if you message me and you don't get any reply, move on. I'm not your cup of tea.

I'm blunt. I don't mince words. I speak my mind. But I would never have any intention to hurt anyone in the process.

I'm here to write and share experiences. Read yours and comment and help through words. There are healing words that we don't hear on a daily basis so if mine can soothe your feelings, I'd be glad. If my comment can make you smile or laugh, we can share the chuckles as we type the lines.

Life is good to share with like-minded people so let's start being the source of happiness for anyone whose pout needs to be replaced by a smiling hope. Spread the world with kindness and I believe it will come back in ten folds.

Suggest you avoid migration to the chat room for private messages. You will find that anyone who insists they can only speak to you in private is often looking for an opportunity to verbally abuse you in a setting where nobody else, including the Moderators, can be witness to their antics. Anyone who cannot converse with you on the open forum have questionable motives if they are uncomfortable with anyone else hearing what they have to say to you. What cannot be said on the open forum should probably not be said at all. Have fun!

Truthfully on this website, what you have chosen is probably the very best option. But on the other hand, it would also restrict someone like myself who simply needs to send you a quick 'heads up' over something that may be of interest to you.

What I prefer to do is hand-pick my messages. I do this by letting anyone send me a message, but I only answer a message if I feel doing so would be in my best interest. 99% of them are not! The underground network comprised of the personal messaging platform on this website is probably 10-times greater than what we see posted daily on the open forum. I am absolutely astounded at the distinct lack of backbone that prevails on SW, from individuals who although completely anonymous, cannot muster-up the courage to say their peace on the open forum. Incredibly bazaar when one thinks about it really.
