"The DSM-5-TR identifies gender dysphoria by focusing on the clinically significant distress or impairment resulting from a marked incongruence between a person's experienced gender and their assigned gender at birth, rather than identifying gender non-conformity itself as a disorder." The important part is that being transgender is not a disorder, only the distress and anxiety that is associated with it.

@James25 okay but it’s not normal, it never used to happen. Why is it happening so much now?
