my beautiful cousin just came out of the closet & i couldn’t be more proud of her 💕🏳‍🌈😭

My niece came out about five years ago, when she was 19. She was scared to tell her grandparents, but my mother and father (in their 80s at the time) told her that they just wanted her to be happy, that they were proud of her, and anyone she loved was welcome in their home. She was so relieved she cried.

I was really proud of them. 🥹

When my ex-girlfriend came out and told me, I immediately embraced her and told her she and I will always be good friends, no matter what.
